SCPY members work together with other local organizations to define the needs of the youth in our community. SCPY works at providing programs and services which empower youth by helping them to develop useful skills and realize their importance in the community

To aid the youth of our community in growing into responsible adults.
We implement programs to aid the youth in development
We regularly evaluate our success
We continue to find new ways to support the youth in our community
To find resources, promote initiatives and impact policies so that child and youth are successful.
To build a better community....one child at a time.
Our vision is that Scott Community will be a place where families and children feel safe; feel connected to their community; parents are recognized as the most influential factor in children's lives; collaboration is facilitated and commitment exists to meet the changing needs of families.
Scott County will strive to be a community where youth and families lead positive, secure and happy lives, gaining skills and knowledge necessary to become productive citizens.
The Scott County Partners for Youth Council believes that families are the foundation of our community, family authority is undermined by many negative influences, and family and community cooperative effort can overcome negative influences.
Funding comes primarily from grants established for non profit organizations to benefit their communities.
A small portion of funds to support SCPY comes from individual contributions.
Volunteers make up the majority of the SCPY organization.
Regular monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at Area Mental Health Center at 4:30pm
